Vacation of a Lifetime
by
Abigail Sommers

...Janet had finished drying her hair and the two of them were sitting in companionable silence when a loud crack, like a gunshot rang out loud and clear. Janet’s reaction was to jump into Tony’s protective arms.

Tony held her close for a minute while his mind raced ahead to the possibilities and probabilities. Tony tried to push Janet down onto the floor. He knew no one could be out there, but just in case.

She refused to let go. He could feel her frightened heart beat against his own. He soothed her fears by crooning soft nothings to her as he slowly reached up and turned out the light. His gun was already in his hand, the safety released. Suddenly another crack was heard, but this time Tony recognized the sound. He automatically put the safety back on his gun and felt his pulse slowing down.

He became acutely aware of how good Janet felt pressed so tightly to his side. She had wrapped one leg around his to hold him there. He smiled when he saw how she had buried her face into his chest and still refused to look up at him.

“Its OK now....Janet? Its OK. It wasn’t a gun.” He heard her muffled voice, “Are you sure?”

He squeezed her tighter for a moment, &#147Yeah, I’m sure. It was da trees cracking from da cold.”

She squirmed a little, but still clung to his side. Her face lifted and he could still see the uncertainty. “Then why did you get so scared?”

Tony was not about to admit that he had been scared. “I wasn’t scared, I was just prepared for whutever happened.”

Janet smiled now and her face lit up. She had felt his heart beat and knew that he had been frightened. Oh she knew that he wasn’t afraid for himself— he had been frightened for her. Tears came unbidden to her eyes and threatened to spill out. She caught a sob of relief and Tony gently wiped the tears away.

&#147Don’t cry sweetheart, I won’t let anything happen to ya.” His voice was husky with emotion. The firelight flickered, softening the darkness.

Janet’s expression changed at the sensual sound of his voice. All the love and desire she felt for him shone in her eyes. Tony was shaken to his toes. He couldn’t help himself, he had to kiss her. He tilted her head just enough to see the love in her eyes as he lowered his mouth toward hers. The quiver in her chin touched him. He wanted to protect her and love her.

Janet wasn’t aware that she had been holding her breath as Tony’s mouth descended until his lips, warm and gentle, made that first contact. She reached up and put her arms around his neck and felt him lift her so that she was straddling his legs. She could feel his arousal pressed hard against her hot aching flesh. She had nothing on under her robe and his rough jeans rubbing against her sensitized flesh caused her to gasp with the intensity of her desire.

Tony was gratified at her reaction to his advances. He let the kiss grow until neither of them could breath. They pulled apart at the same time to catch their breaths.

Janet’s expert hands were rubbing Tony’s skin in just the right places. She had a feather touch that enticed the skin to want more. She gradually intensified her contact until Tony moaned with the joy of the moment. He’d never had anyone caress every inch of him before. Her fingers did the funniest things to his libido, and he knew that he was losing control of the situation.

Then she unzipped his jeans and the state of his arousal was obvious....
